Background:

Lake Taupō Forest Trust is an Ahu Whenua Maori Land Trust based in Tūrangi. The Trust administers the interests of more than 13,500 land owners and over 33,000 hectares of land adjoining Lake Taupō. This is a medium sized, progressive business, with an increasing responsibility for exotic forest development.

Job Description:

We are currently looking for an HR/Payroll Administrator with at least 3 years' experience working in a medium to large sized organisation, to provide the Trust with high quality HR administrative support and payroll administration. The successful applicant must have:

  • payroll experience preferably with IMS payroll;
  • a sound working knowledge of the NZ Employment Relations Act and Holiday's Act;
  • a sound working knowledge of recruitment and employment procedures and employment agreements;
  • effective time management skills and attention to detail;
  • a current and valid driver's licence, as off-site training is required from time to time.

You will have demonstrated competencies in several areas including communication, relationship management, and self-management and responsibility.
